Pitchpine is one of the most outstanding types of wood, especially for natural floorboards.
Originally this wood was harvested in Alabama as pitch pine (Pinus rigida), today it is caribean pine from predominantly Honduras.
The high resin content characterizes this type of wood, although today's species do not come close to the heaviness of the original pitch pine, the solid wood planks are still very popular. Cover dimension 135mm with tongue dimension 140mm or 185mm with 190mm tongue dimension.
